Is Yosemite Pet-Friendly?

Dogs are permitted inside Yosemite National Park but are quite limited in where they can go. Leashed pets are allowed on paved roads, sidewalks, and bicycle paths and can access the Wawona Meadow Loop. Dogs are not permitted on any other hikes (even on a leash), including Vernal Fall. You can find answers to all of your Yosemite pet questions here.
Are Cabins in Yosemite Available Year-Round?

Yosemite is open year-round, and most cabins in Yosemite continue to take bookings during the winter season. However, certain roads into the park close during snow-prone months, and it’s important to check road conditions before your trip. Generally, 4WD and snow tires or chains are requirements for winter visits. You can find more information on the NPS website.
