Yosemite Cabin FAQs

How Far In Advance Should I Reserve My Yosemite Cabin?
Yosemite cabins book out months in advance, especially during the high summer season. It’s recommended to reserve Yosemite lodging as far in advance as possible – up to 12 months beforehand if hoping to stay inside the park gates. If you’re planning a last-minute trip, create a shortlist of favorite properties and frequently check for cancellations. You may get lucky!
Why Are Yosemite Cabins So Expensive?
The simple truth is that demand for Yosemite lodging far exceeds supply during much of the year. Yosemite cabin rentals under $300 per night are considered a steal and it’s nearly impossible to find options for under $200. If you’re on a budget but don’t want to camp, try the canvas tent cabins in Curry Village, which start at $92 per night.
What Town Should I Stay in When Visiting Yosemite?
If you’re not staying in the valley itself, the next closest areas to Yosemite are Yosemite West and Foresta. Yosemite West is most convenient if you’re traveling from Southern California and Foresta is best for those visiting from the Bay Area.
