Our founder, Jenna Becker, is a SoCal native who grew up camping her way through the United States and has visited nearly every national park west of the Rockies. Her love for hiking, climbing, and backpacking led her to create Up and Away Magazine. Our small team of writers and editors is dedicated to delivering informative content that makes planning a national park trip easy.
We believe that time spent outdoors invites us to reconnect with ourselves and the planet and that we all have a role to play in being good stewards of the environment. We are committed to promoting sustainable and responsible outdoor practices.
